Aurium is a Serbian progressive opera rock/metal band formed in Serbia, Belgrade in 2012. Its name was inspired by a medical term (Tinnitus Aurium) describing sounds of physiological or pathological origin, which may or may not always be perceived in consciousness. Colours are the basis of all songs; they hide behind melodies, diving deep below the surface. Lyrics talk about love, life and loss which pervades the subconscious. Originally a rock band, Aurium adjusted its musical style by adding orchestral instruments, choirs and audio effects to color the songs, and many electronic instruments to make it completely understandable.
The Beginings

Milica was initially recruited as a guest singer for Sinisa's demo recording in 2009. Sinisa invited Milica to join his new symphonic music project, and she immediately agreed. At the recording session for the first demo Sinisa discovered that due to her classical singing lessons, Milica's voice had become much more powerful than he recalled from their school days. They recorded a demo song named "Endless Dream" in December 2009, with Milica on vocals and Sinisa keyboards, guitars, drums and bass. It was home production demo song they prepared as the review for the new members for their band. In 2012 they started to composting the rest of the songs, and played them live on local gigs. In August 2014, the band entered the studio for the first time and recorded their demo in Draft Studio. During the winter of 2015 different labels showed interest in the demo. Aurium signed with Miner Records and released the full-lenght album "Still Life" in May, 2015.
